Dualtone Records, the label that represents many great artists such as Guy Clark, The Lumineers, and Shovels & Rope, have made the big announcement that they have signed the Felice Brothers for their next album release. Fans can get excited now that we have a confirmation on the new label for the band and a general time-line for release of the new album. We’ve heard bits and pieces from the band about recording and mixing the album and now we got the news that they’re shooting for a summer release and tour for their next release.
A band we have loved for a long time, @felicebrothers has joined the family! New album coming this summer. Pumped.

James Felice recently confirmed the news in an interview with Over The Top’s Charlotte Holley by letting us know that it will be coming out some time in the early summer and that the band is really excited about it. There will be some shows leading up to the release and then likely a full tour to support the release after it comes out. Also an interesting development is the mention that was made in the “Americana Round-Up” in Uncut magazine about the album’s possible title: Raccoon. So far there hasn’t been many other mentions of this but we’ll likely know more in the coming weeks. Check out a screenshot of the mention below (as well as some Simone Felice news).
UPDATE: The album title seems confirmed to be “Favorite Waitress” by the Register Star in a photo caption that talks about a new Felice Brothers music video. See the screenshot below:
