Simone Felice begins new tour, reunites with brothers for new album.

Simone Felice reuniting with his brothers
Simone Felice is back again, this time with a slew of solo dates this spring as he readies his solo album for 2011 release. Simone recently recorded 3 songs for his upcoming solo debut, with brothers Ian and James Felice, as well as Christmas Clapton and Greg Farley. Simone was back behind the Felice Brothers kit at the high school studio in Beacon, NY.

The lineup featured James on organ,Ian on Rhodes, Christmas on Bass and Greg Farley on fiddle, and were produced by Jeremy “the Searcher” Backofen. From all accounts the results sounded like they were ripped right from Muscle Shoals circa 1972.

Possible recordings and tour in the future? Let’s cross our fingers.

For now Simone will tour behind his solo disc, and release his long awaited novel “Black Jesus” which is available at shows! Click here to view his tour schedule.
