Playing a hometown show in New York is always going to lead to fun times with the Felice Brothers. On September 29th, 2011 they played Webster Hall in New York City with the up and coming act and good friends of the brothers Diamond Doves. The crowded show featured a bunch of songs from the album Celebration Florida as well as some fan favorites “Whiskey in my Whiskey” and “White Limo” and received cheers for their spirited version of Bruce Springsteen’s “Darkness on the Edge of Town”.
The photos below were taken by JC McIlwaine for The Bowery House List. He was gracious enough to let us post the photos here so check out some of his other amazing shots at his site. The show was recorded by NYCTaper.com and you can download it for free by clicking here. We also have the lucky privilege of having video of the entire show thanks to one devoted fan in the front of the crowd. You can view the videos on Youtube by clicking here.
