Fans of the Felice Brothers who are attending the Halloween show at Spaceland Ballroom in Hamden, CT will get an extra special treat if they arrive early enough to catch the opening act. For a little while the band has been hyping up “Nun Neil Young” who will be opening the show and now they’ve offered more details about what that set will entail. They have also announced plans for a costume contest and what prizes you could win.

The band is coming off a run of West Coast shows where they played some of their own sets and also backed up friend of the band, Conor Oberst. The Felice Brothers are currently traveling the country with a run of supporting dates while they test out some new material. They have just finished a string of opening dates for Josh Ritter and in a couple of months you will be able to catch them on the west coast as the supporting act for Conor Oberst. These shows are in addition to the multiple different summer festivals that the band can be found playing such as the famous Newport Folk Festival. The Felice Brothers have added a number of U.S. and U.K. tour dates for this summer, including a few stops at music festivals that are worth checking out. One highlight of the upcoming tour dates is the show in June in Brooklyn NY at Brooklyn Bowl as part of the Northside Music Festival. The Felice Brothers have added a few new tour dates in the U.S. next month after they return from overseas. There’s a couple of select dates in the Northeast as well as a few festivals.
